The Corry Junction Greenway Trail runs 5.8 miles north from Corry, Pennsylvania to the state line and on to Clymer, New York, following an old Pennsylvania Railroad branch through the Brokenstraw Valley. It is rail-grade flat the whole way, with a total elevation span of well under 100 feet, and the tread is crushed limestone where maintenance has kept up and grass or two-track where it has not. The trail provides a quiet, rural experience: deciduous woods, small streams, farm edges, and wetlands, with road crossings at Hereford Road and a few other points.

The land north of Corry is glaciated country, gently rolling ground pocked with kettle bogs left by retreating ice. Corry itself was born of railroads: in 1861 the Atlantic and Great Western Railroad crossed the Philadelphia and Erie here, and the junction gave the oil-boom town its start. The line that became this trail was completed in 1865 as the Oil Creek Cross Cut Railroad, running north toward Chautauqua County. Ownership changed hands repeatedly over the next thirty-five years, through the Buffalo, Oil Creek and Cross Cut; the Pittsburgh, Titusville and Buffalo; the Buffalo, New York and Philadelphia; and the Western New York and Pennsylvania, before the whole works was absorbed into the Pennsylvania Railroad by 1900. Trains ran until 1978. The Northwest Pennsylvania Trail Association purchased the Corry to Clymer portion of the corridor in 2003 and built it out as a ten-foot crushed limestone path with asphalt ramps at the road crossings. Maintenance has been uneven since, and stretches have reverted to two-track with a grass center, but the association continues to hold the corridor in partnership with the Tri-County Snowblazers snowmobile club.
